It is lovely to see the lights come out for the holiday season. Of course the long winter nights are also a great time to see the natural lights in the sky as well!
We may be missing our students but summer is still lots of fun when you have new toys! We are just finishing the installation of a new radio telescope which will scan the skies looking for hydrogen and methanol.
Yellow is the colour theme for York for the next couple of months- and the day and night sky is no different! In June we have the longest day, the solstice.
